Producing roughly as much energy as a Mentos mint dropped into a can of Diet Coke, the Glasgow sixsome follow last year’s Sissy Hits EP with a debut album Hey Everyone!.
Twelve anti-lullabies of clattery, shouty, thrashy scream-pop are definitely not going to help put a baby to sleep, but are probably exactly the sort of thing to make fans headbutt each other in sheer excitement. Their trademark weirdo-Scottish humour pops up with a girly ‘Hiya!’ shouted out in ‘Watch This’, and those thunderous double drums are back, exploding all over the place in ‘Pink Sabbath’ and ‘Totally Bone’.
